PARTICIPATORY PHOTOGRAPHY & WORKSHOPS

Participatory photography has evolved as a specific participatory action research method for development for many years now, which involves providing people with cameras and other tools, to record their realities and perspectives.

Since 2009, I have been using participatory photography methods for my personal projects and teaching. It is a way for me to act and interact under a different context and use photography as a language to communicate. I have also been collaborating with different NGO'S and art therapists, to create new spaces for dialogue, self-expression and empowerment often for marginalized groups.
