FEATURES: OUT ON A LIMB

Through my photography I want to reveal the paradoxes that occur in the crude environment of a construction site; the loneliness and calmness that emerges in contrast to this often noisy, dangerous, dirty and hard world of construction.

A builder is one of the most ancient professions and although it is constantly present in our every day imagery we don’t pay much attention to it: people that still work with their hands and actually put together these immense constructions within an extremely developed and industrial society.
